As an independent ethical celebrant, I understand the importance of making your special day specific to you, whatever the occasion. I love to discover and share people’s stories, whether it be an epic love story for a wedding celebration or renewing your vows, welcoming a new addition to a family, or saying goodbye to a treasured family member or friend.
Trained with the Irish Institute of Celebrants and currently serving on the committee of the Irish Ethical Celebrants Society, I pride myself on maintaining high standards of service and using my personality and writing skills to help you make the most of any of life’s celebrations.
About Helena
My background in tourism and hospitality gave me a general love for meeting people and hearing their stories over the years, so it was inevitable that I would end up becoming a storyteller of sorts! My journey to becoming a celebrant started out accidentally (a friend asked me to write and perform her wedding ceremony) but I quickly came to realise that I had found something that could bring me considerable joy.
It is a great privilege to be invited to be a part of someone's special day, be it a wedding, baby naming, or a celebration of life ceremony. While it is something that I take very seriously, I also strive to bring my personality and enthusiasm to all my ceremonies, which I certainly feel is one of my greatest strengths.
